Hurrah for Gin supermarket alone time = golden time. Oh the freedom, the luxury!
FB About: "It's not just a mummy blog, it's a blog by someone who just happens to be a mum (with a penchant for gin). "
When Crazy Meets Exhaustion There's no denying it's a milestone. The first of so many.
FB About: "I write, I teach, I parent. This is my attempt at adult conversation."
Honest Toddler tells it like it is. She's even written a book called "Toddlers are Assholes (it's not your fault)."
Fowl Language Comics if you haven't seen these wonderfully accurate cartoons by Brian Gordon then you must still be in the newborn stage with no time to scroll.
FB About: "Fowl Language is inspired by my struggles as a parent, my fascination with geeky subcultures, and a constant, crushing wave of self-doubt and anxiety."
Sarcastic Mommy Or toast. FACT.
FB About: "Tou know THAT mom? That's me. And, if you like this page, it's probably you too! If you don't like to be sarcastic, laugh at others, laugh at yourself, or don't like the occasional cuss word, then this page is NOT for you!"
Parenting Nation is a bit sugary for our taste but THIS meme shows the true ingratitude of babies so we can appreciate this.
FB About: "Parenting Nation is your guide and friend through the beautiful and extra-ordinary, yet challenging process of Parenting."
Foxy Wine Pocket Remember how you silently (or sometimes not so silently) judged parents with noisy, mucky, rude, tantrum-in-the-supermarket or picking-their-nose-and-eating-it kids?
Remember all those promises you made yourself? When declarations such as "I'll never ignore my kids", "my child will only read the classics", "the TV will not be on in MY house when the baby is born" ran through your child-free, care-free mind?
That's you, that is.
FB About: "Twisted suburban mom humor. Sometimes irreverent. Pairs well with wine."
Ponies and Martinis Motherhood is a lot more than this, but I do spend an in-proportionate amount of time doing this.
FB About: "Navigating the insanity of life and motherhood one wry comment at a time."
One more Fowl Language Comics, because for all our parenting sarcasm, this is us too.
Finally, for those days when we are tired, run ragged, stressed and shouty. We're doing OK. We hope they know this (even if it's not until they have kids of their own).
